Job Title: Remote IT Coordinator (100% Work From Home)


Location: Remote from Latin America


Position Type: Full-time


Salary: ~$1,600 - 3,300 USD/month ($20,000 - $40,000 per year) depending on experience paid via Deel


Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:15pm Pacific Time (includes a 30-minute lunch break).

They are seeking an experienced digital marketer to drive the success of paid and organic search rankings and paid and organic social media marketing.

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for managing IT support cases, performing system administration tasks, contributing to the development of our learning platform, and maintaining cybersecurity. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual with strong technical and communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • IT Support & Case Management:
  • Triage and resolve incoming IT support cases from staff, faculty, and students.
  • Utilize case/ticket management systems (preferably Salesforce) to track and manage support requests.
  • System Administration & Maintenance:
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform basic development within various systems.
  • Administer Office 365 and Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Maintain cybersecurity protocols and implement necessary security measures.
  • Learning Platform Support: Provide support for the ongoing development of the University's proprietary learning platform.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Coordinate and address the IT needs of multiple teams within the University.



Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

Required Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in case/ticket management (preferably Salesforce).
  • Experience with Salesforce administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure administration.
  • Proven ability to maintain cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MacOS.

Required Soft Skills:

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to be available "on call" for critical alerts.
  • Ability to adapt strategies and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong self-management skills and ability to work asynchronously.
  • Proactive collaboration and initiative.
  • Commitment to providing excellent user experience.
  • Reliable internet connection, high-quality camera, and microphone.
  • Availability to work 8 hours per day, five days per week, during standard Pacific Time working hours.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Relevant degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce development.
  • Knowledge of Notion administration.
  • Experience working in high-growth startups.
  • Experience working in higher education.

  • PTO: Not provided for contractors. Unpaid time off can be approved as needed.
