About the Investor Network Team
The Investor Network (IN) team works with more than 220 institutional investors (managing more than $46 trillion in assets) to advance sustainable investment practices, engage with corporate leaders, and advocate for key policy and regulatory solutions to accelerate the transition to a more just and equitable world. We work both domestically in the U.S. and on global collaborations including Climate Action 100+, The Investor Agenda, the Paris Aligned Investment Initiative, and the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative.
About the Role
The Manager role provides strategic communications and marketing support to the Investor Network team and our global investor initiatives. In this role, the Manager liaises with the Investor Network team and the Marketing and Communications team to ensure communications coordination and integration across teams and partners to ensure consistency in messaging in thought leadership content and across all media and marketing materials.
The Manager is responsible for developing communications plans and messaging, media, and marketing materials. This includes drafting pitches, press releases, columns, blogs, newsletters, and other content for Ceres’ website and social and digital media channels. The Manager cultivates relationships with journalists and producers to secure media interviews and other engagements and place expert quotes and columns in strategic outlets. The Manager also supports a monthly Investor Network bulletin and other communications directly to Investor Network members and prospects. The Manager supports the marketing team with messaging support for network team-led events, webinars, and other convenings and marketing one-pagers that highlight the value proposition of the network.
Ceres is looking for a candidate with strong communications and writing skills and superb project and relationship management skills. This position reports to the Vice President, Ceres Investor Network and has a dotted line to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications.
This full-time position may work remotely or in the Boston, MA office or San Francisco, CA office. Candidates must be flexible to work with employees in all US time zones.

Compensation and Benefits
The hiring salary is $81,100 - $96,300 with competitive benefits (Pay Grade 16).
