DevOps Engineer with MATLAB

The Client

Our major Client is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits and chips that are to be found in everyday life – your smartphones, laptops, TVs, etc.

We provide various solutions to them – infrastructure, operations, development, among many others.

The Position

Our DevOps teams have won their trust in providing the best multifunctional support.

We are now giving you a chance to grow your skills – if you have Ops experience and some knowledge of MATLAB and Python, our skilled engineers will help you learn the rest!

Responsibilities

• Handle support tickets (incl. NSSR), try to solve issues immediately, or create incidents to follow up.
• Incident management and identifying problems.
• Support and handle standardized requests from Engineering.
• Focus on automation of repeated requests and recurring incident resolution activities;
• Deliver support on Linux- and Windows-based services;
• Perform limited application and infrastructure testing;
• As a Scrum team member actively participating in Scrum Sprint Plannings, Dailies, Refinement and Retrospective Meetings.

Requirements

Essential skills

• 1+ year of Python experience;
• MATLAB experience;
• Basic Linux knowledge;
• Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal);
• Strong analytic view combined with pragmatic attitude (flexibility);
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Nice to have experience with/knowledge of:

• Bash/PowerShell;
• Access management;
• Application management;
• INC requests.
