Product Manager (m/f/d) Payment & Contract

Join IU and become part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to making quality education accessible to all. We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the integration of efficient payment and contracting solutions and deliver seamless processes for students and internal stakeholders.

This position is available immediately in full-time (40hrs./week) within Germany or UK remotely or at one of our office locations.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a modern, scalable service to manage all student contract-related processes.
• Develop and optimize a new service covering all contract-related aspects of the student experience. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current solution facilitating data transfer and interpretations between related systems.
• Maintain detailed product plans, including feature prioritization, release schedules, and resource allocation while balancing short-term solutions with long-term value creation.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders across markets, finance, and the Workday ERP team. Foster alignment, resolve conflicts, and ensure seamless integration of solutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of payment and contracting solutions. Drive adoption, monitor performance, and iterate on features to deliver ongoing improvements.
• Collaborate with a Scrum team of 5 engineers and UX to ensure timely delivery by prioritizing features, managing release schedules, and maintaining alignment with business and user needs.
  
  

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in B2B/B2C or scale-up environment, with a focus on delivering complex, process driven features.
• You have a knack for simplifying complex processes into user-friendly solutions paired with the ability to inspire teams and foster alignment across diverse groups.
• Solid track record of delivering successful products and features, particularly within payments, finance, or corporate domains
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dig deep and simplify complex processes into user-friendly solutions.
• Experience with Adyen, Stripe, Workday or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Confidence in engaging stakeholders who are still transitioning to a product-driven mindset.
• Fluency in English rounds up your profile, German is a plus.
