As a strategy manager within Strategy Process, you’ll play a key role in shaping Progressive’s corporate strategy by driving business unit advisory, scenario exploration, and emerging trends services. You’ll lead a team of Strategy Analysts, providing leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to translate data from emerging macro, industry, and consumer trends into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Acting as a manager and a strategic contributor, you’ll provide direct support for high-impact projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business needs. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with senior leadership to develop competitive response strategies, deliver compelling insights, and drive meaningful organizational change.

Location: This is a remote position. Local to Cleveland or Chicago preferred for occasional in-person meetings. This position will require quarterly travel to Cleveland for Strategy meetings and/or project work (estimated 4-6 times a year).

Must-have Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 9 years of analytical or related experience, with at least 2 years leadership experience (e.g., managerial role)
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field of study and a minimum of 6 years of analytical or related experience, with at least 2 years leadership experience (e.g., managerial role)
  • {OR} Master's degree or higher in Business or related field of study and a minimum of 4 years analytical or related experience, with at least 2 years leadership experience (e.g., managerial role)

Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing high performing teams, particularly in strategy, consulting, or analytics
  • Deep knowledge of market and industry research methodologies, competitive intelligence, and emerging business trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills; Experience cultivating credibility by building strong, collaborative relationships with leadership, internal/external business partners and peers
  • Advanced Excel modeling and statistical skills; Ability to synthesize complex data and insights into meaningful, actionable recommendations that drive business results
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity

Compensation

  • $120,000 - $160,000/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
