As the associate general counsel in the Product Design Practice Group, you’ll support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our commercial coverages for employers and independent contractors. In this role, you’ll assist with product design work related to potential mergers and acquisitions and support integration activities related subject matters. Additionally, you’ll lead a team of legal professionals handling commercial customer collections, a legal product specialist team, and a senior product design attorney.

This is a remote role.

Must Have Qualifications

  • Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM) and a minimum of eight years of post-degree legal practice experience
  • Active license to practice law in at least one state; active or corporate license in state where working (or eligible to be)

Preferred Skills

  • Workers’ compensation or other commercial lines product design experience
  • Workers’ compensation litigation, compliance experience
  • Due diligence review experience for integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions
  • Experience with process design, implementation, and evaluation
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of influential communication and the ability to build relationships

Compensation

  • $141,100 -201,500/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 50% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
  • Eligible to participate in our restricted stock units program
