As a product development manager in the Auto Product Research & Development (R&D) group, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and developing strategies related to regulatory support for our new product features and predictive modeling initiatives. Your role involves influencing strategy to ensure regulatory compliance and providing technical assistance with actuarial support for our models and factor indications. This includes issuing Statements of Actuarial Opinion, whether Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) designation. Additionally, you’ll offer comprehensive regulatory support, with an expectation to be familiar with or willing to learn the Product and Countrywide Auto Pricing Project (CAPP) processes. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the success of our innovative and compliant auto products.

Must Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with an emphasis in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Quantitative Research or Actuarial Science or related field of study and a minimum of 6 years related professional experience (e.g., analytical work in a professional setting)

Preferred Skills

  • Leadership or management experience
  • Experience with Actuarial Standards of Practice around ratemaking and predictive modeling
  • Prior experience in product roles that involve field product management, R&D, or pricing.
  • Experience in relationship-building and influencing with other functional areas
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of influential communication and the ability to build relationships

Compensation

  • $125,700- $179,600/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 50% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
  • Participation in our restricted stock units plan
