Assistance needed with researching, reviewing, and analyzing investment grade public finance issuers and the broad municipal bond market. Monitor and analyze fixed income markets and the economy and provide proactive and timely market strategies to Huntington colleagues and their clients. Recommend and implement investment strategies for municipal bond portfolios based on market conditions. Demonstrate the ability to represent municipal securities as an investment solution in client meetings and on client conference calls.
Qualifications
Trading desk experience (markets or credit) and knowledge of trading platforms such as Bloomberg is highly advantageous. Knowledge and experience focused on fixed income and/or municipal market trading and analysis, including knowledge of municipal credit fundamental factors and broad municipal market concepts and economics. Credit research and analysis will include financial metric and financial statement quantitative analysis, individual credit/trading analysis, writing, presentation skills.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting. MBA and/or CFA advantageous
Experience
Minimum 2 years of investment experience (prefer municipal trading, public finance investment banking, credit analytics, and/or municipal strategy).
Quantitative skills, financial statement and broad market analysis/data mining, writing, experience with Microsoft Excel, presentation skills, client interaction
