Job description

Job Title: Facility Executive (Soft Services & Horticulture)

Experience: 2 to 4 Years

Job Summary:

The Facility Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end facility operations, focusing on soft services (housekeeping, security, vendor management) and horticulture (landscaping, garden maintenance). This role ensures the upkeep, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal of the facility while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Facility Operations & Soft Services Management

  • Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
  • Supervise housekeeping, security, pantry, and waste management services.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and address maintenance issues proactively.

2. Horticulture & Landscape Maintenance

  • Manage garden areas, lawns, and indoor/outdoor plants to maintain an aesthetic and eco-friendly environment.
  • Coordinate with horticulturists and vendors for regular landscaping and seasonal plant care.
  • Implement sustainable practices like water conservation, composting, and organic gardening.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Coordinate with vendors for housekeeping, horticulture, and security services.
  • Negotiate service contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure facility operations align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Implement and oversee fire safety, emergency evacuation plans, and workplace safety policies.
  • Conduct safety drills and training sessions for staff.

5. Budgeting & Cost Optimization

  • Assist in budgeting for facility operations and horticulture maintenance.
  • Optimize costs by identifying energy-efficient solutions and cost-effective service providers.
  • Monitor expenses related to soft services and horticulture.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Horticulture, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in facility management, housekeeping, or horticulture.
  • Strong knowledge of soft services, housekeeping standards, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with landscaping, plant maintenance, and water conservation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and people management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing large commercial or residential facility operations.
  • Knowledge of sustainable facility management practices.
  • Certification in Facility Management or Horticulture is an advantage.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily site-based role in Jaipur with on-ground supervision of soft services and horticulture.
  • May require flexible working hours, including weekends, for inspections or emergencies.
