Role Overview

We are seeking a technically skilled, customer-focused professional to bridge the gap between our platform and our clients data needs. This role combines customer communication, data transformation expertise, and technical problem-solving to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing success for our clients.

Role Title: Customer Solutions Engineer (Data Onboarding) / Technical Onboarding Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Onboarding & Communication:

  • Guide customers through onboarding, acting as their primary technical point of contact.
  • Understand customer data formats, business requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Resolve data-related issues, translating customer feedback into actionable solutions.


2. Data Transformation & Scripting:

  • Develop custom scripts (e.g., Python, Ruby, SQL) to transform, validate, and load customer data into the platform.
  • Adapt data from diverse formats (CSV, JSON, APIs, legacy systems) to align with platform requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug data pipeline issues, ensuring accuracy and integrity.


3. Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Document onboarding workflows and contribute to internal tools to automate future processes.
  • Partner with product/engineering teams to advocate for customer needs and influence platform enhancements.


4. Technical Support & Training

  • Provide post-onboarding support for data-related queries.
  • Create guides or tutorials to empower customers in managing their data.


Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Ruby, Bash, or similar) and data manipulation (e.g., Pandas, ETL workflows).
  • Experience with data formats (CSV, JSON, XML) and APIs. Familiarity with SaaS platforms and databases (SQL/NoSQL).


Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • 1+ years in customer-facing technical roles (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Technical Support, DevOps).


Bonus:

  • Knowledge of data governance or workflow automation tools (e.g., Airflow).
