Key responsibilities:

As a highly skilled technical professional and member of Data and Analytics Services, you will define and manage the Business Intelligence function aligned to key concepts, principles and best practice.

  • Implement and manage the organisation’s Business Intelligence offering, developing and implementing frameworks, providing standards and guidance, advanced tooling, business reports and data driven insights
  • Work with senior stakeholders to align priorities and secure support
  • Support the implementation, build, management and maintenance of data and analytics capabilities including design and build of solutions, data infrastructure, analytics tools, products and services
  • Support the build, management and maintenance of data and analytics capabilities including assurance and controls, data management, data tools, products and services
  • Detect and analyse early trends in data and analytics technology
  • Support teams to realise opportunities for innovation
  • Advise on new techniques and methods that address shared problems
  • Support the organisation to ensure it has the data and analytics skills it needs
  • Implement organisational processes and ways of working so that data and analytics roles you support can thrive
  • Continuously improve and optimise the organisational environment
  • Implement and monitor performance to improve the Data and Analytics Delivery function
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Professional Experience:

  • Significant, demonstrable experience in data-centric roles, with a proven track record in Data Analysis, Insights delivery, Data Visualisation, Data Management, Data Quality, Data Sharing, Data Acquisition, and Data Standards, enriched with hands-on experience in dashboard creation using Power BI.
  • Demonstrable expertise in understanding and deploying data frameworks & processes for advanced data solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the technology industry offerings in the data and analytics space, including familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms and services.
  • Proficiency in data performance, risk, and issue reporting and escalation adept in developing and visualising Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with business intelligence tools to underscore their significance in a data context.
  • Proven track record of supporting medium to large-scale data and analytics projects and programmes
  • Excellent knowledge of data and analytics transformation, technical road mapping, and performance management
  • Demonstrable experience in implementing data and analytics frameworks and data lifecycle processes
