Summary

As an EaaS Application Team Lead at Hummingbird, you will supervise a team of analysts providing managed services support to one of our healthcare system partners. Your role will focus on overseeing your team's daily operations, providing guidance on project execution, managing client relationships, and ensuring robust application support. Additionally, you will deliver high quality application support and oversee issue resolution and project execution.


Responsibilities

Employment Eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Compensation: $104,000 - $127,250 per year less statutory deductions

Work Location: This position is remote. You must work from a location within the United States with consistent internet service. PST Hours 8am- 5pm.

Travel: 4-5 trips per year for client visits, training, and company events.

On Call: 12-13 weeks per year. Mon- Sun.

Operations Management

  • Supervise the daily operations of your team, ensuring reliable delivery of Epic application support to the customer.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects for system improvement, modifications, and implementations.
  • Coordinate change control, system governance, and general processes to ensure business continuity.
  • Assist EaaS Managers and Directors with project scoping and prioritization.
  • Escalate effectively to ensure a quick resolution with communication that shows responsiveness and builds trust with our partners.
  • Communicate with management and leadership about outcomes, achievements, and risks.

Application Support

  • Design, build and implement system solutions to meet our partner’s IT needs.
  • Document business requirements for proposed system changes and adhere closely to change control documentation.
  • Help review, assign, and work NOVA notes to ensure changes are implemented as needed.
  • Research and recommend best practices within your application responsibilities.
  • Provide routine maintenance and break/fix support as needed.

General

  • Provide on-call support, as required.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay current with Epic certifications and application knowledge to ensure proficiency in relevant technologies and methodologies.
  • Comply with all HIPAA policies, procedures, and training requirements.

Team Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day supervision to help your team meet department and organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular 1-1s with team members, offering guidance and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their objectives.
  • Assist managers by providing input for performance evaluations, resource allocation, and workload management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work efforts and drive projects to timely completion.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience providing Epic application support, including 2+ years of recent experience in your assigned application(s).
  • Experienced with Epic Ambulatory application.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with management and external partners.
  • Ability to organize work and prioritize projects to reach deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at the same time.
