Ventures Endurance, a division of Gannett/USA Today Network, is seeking an experienced, creative, and motivated Paid Social Media Associate to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our marketing and social media strategy with the goal of growing our online presence and improving marketing efforts. This position will report to the Associate Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Manage paid Meta and TikTok campaigns and budgets for 10+ events. Oversee social media content creation across 40+ Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts. Collaborate with influencers and content creators, including our "Runbassador" program, to amplify brand messaging and reach new audiences. Implement and refine our current social media strategy. Measure the results of social media campaigns and adjust strategies based on findings. Seek out and implement social media growth strategies across all our brands. Work closely with the graphic design team to create engaging social media and marketing content. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a focus on paid campaign management.
Passion for all things digital media and social media.
Comfortable managing a budget.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Proven experience creating organic content, managing paid social media campaigns, and working across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
In-depth understanding of current social media trends and platforms.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain a fast-paced workflow.
Good understanding of social media KPIs and analytics.
Excellent multitasking and time-management skills.
Meta certification a plus.
Experience with Sprout Social a plus.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $43,000 and $55,000. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
