Job description

This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: Flexible 40 hours a week with weekly catch up within Central business hours

Scope:

  • Handle financial records for multiple client accounts in the restaurant and bar industry
  • Work within established processes to maintain consistency across client accounts
  • Collaborate with senior team members for review and approval of financial statements
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client financial information
  • Adapt to potential expansion of responsibilities as skills develop
  • Flexible 40 hours a week with weekly catch ups within Central business hours
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations using QuickBooks
  • Enter journal entries, including payroll accruals and inventory adjustments
  • Prepare inventory reports as required
  • Review and analyze balance sheets and income statements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records


Requirements


  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, particularly in relation to restaurant and bar bookkeeping
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills in English
