About The Role
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and managing day to day operations of the finance function. Acting as a business partner, you will support decision-making and process improvements, helping optimise financial performance.
This role offers full remote flexibility while working closely with international teams across New Zealand, the US and Europe. You will report directly to the Group Finance Director who is Auckland based so although this is fully remote you will work in a supportive and collaborative team and you will need to be based in Auckland to be able to meet with the rest of the team in person.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting, providing insights to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including payroll, tax, and insurance.
Support US-based managers in financial literacy and budget management.
Lead and mentor a part-time bookkeeper, ensuring smooth finance operations.

CA qualification or equivalent experience with 5+ years in finance or accounting.
Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and payroll systems (Xero preferred).
Experience working in a growth environment with a proven track record in maximising efficiencies and process improvements.
Proven experience in month-end reporting and managing all levels of transactional accounting.
Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
Effective communicator, able to engage with stakeholders and present financial data clearly.
Detail-oriented, organised, and committed to process improvement.
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a small team.
