The Role
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through both self-generated leads and strategic collaborations with our technology and sales partners, including SAP, Mirakl, and others. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in the DACH region.
In this role, you will primarily act as a hunter, proactively building new client relationships from the ground up. Additionally, you will identify and capitalize on new opportunities within existing accounts. Prospective clients may come from supplied leads, newly established contacts, or your own professional network.
Your focus will be on engaging key stakeholders and delivering high-value eCommerce (B2B & B2C) and marketplace solutions. Given the complexity of these solutions, the sales process can be intricate and involve long sales cycles. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and initial outreach to delivering compelling company and product presentations (with support from our presales consultants), defining solutions and services, and negotiating contracts.

About You
Native German speaker with fluency in English.
Proven experience in eCommerce Sales and Business Development, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth.
Strong commercial acumen and a genuine passion for enhancing the customer experience.
Demonstrated success in managing the full sales cycle—from initial engagement to closing—while collaborating with consultants at every stage.
Experience handling both cold and warm opportunities, delivering compelling presentations, and responding to RFPs in close partnership with a presales team. You act as the voice of the prospect, ensuring internal discussions align with client needs.
Skilled in selling business-focused solutions, simplifying complex concepts to effectively communicate value.
Excellent communication skills—listening, written, verbal, and presentation— with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-level.
Experience working with marketing teams to develop and execute successful campaigns.
Highly numerate, capable of handling internal reporting and negotiating effectively with clients.
