Your Role

The Senior Manager - Pricing Advisory role supports the pricing of general insurance products using data analytics, statistical modelling, and in depth knowledge of the general insurance industry, our products, customers, and partners to maintain a sustainable, profitable, growing business.


Your duties and responsibilities

  • Development of the Hollard pricing strategy to balance customer, partner, shareholder, community, and pricing team outcomes, with a focus on fair exchange of value between customers, partners, and Hollard.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the execution of the pricing strategy translates to real world outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure pricing strategy helps deliver overall business strategy.
  • Uplifting the strategic thinking capability across the Pricing team.
  • Providing business and technical analytical advice to Pricing and Commercial teams across a diverse range of pricing and business problems.


Your knowledge, skills, and attributes

  • Extensive General Insurance experience is required.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, collaborating across diverse business functions and senior leadership levels.
  • Must have strong negotiation skills and an ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences to enable effective understanding and decision making across the business.
  • Degree qualified in mathematics, actuarial studies, statistics, or similar quantitative disciplines is required.
