As a young and dynamically growing company in the music industry founded in 2019, we at CHAPTER EIGHT Records are looking for committed employees for our record labels.The A&R Trainee Program is designed to develop dynamic A&Rs focused on scouting and signing viral tracks, with a strong emphasis on proactive, outbound talent acquisition.


Tasks

  1. Talent Scouting: Use TikTok to identify trending and emerging artists, sounds, and music trends.

  2. Content Curation: Customize a feed to spot new talents and trending music effectively.

  3. Data-Driven Insights: Utilize specialized tools and platforms to assess new releases and track artist performance.

  4. Collaboration and Feedback: Participate in weekly meetings to discuss deals, artist outreach, and challenges; maintain close communication with team leads and receive regular feedback.


Requirements

  • Talent Scouting Intuition: No prior experience required; we value a strong sense for trends and the ability to spot potential viral artists.

  • Creative skills and an eye for detail to develop innovative tracks

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with artists and partners

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
