Job description

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Orange Polska you will join a dedicated team of 10 experts working on a variety of projects supporting our branches in Poland and other European countries (mainly France, Belgium and Romania). Your soft skills will be no less important than your technical expertise - we are looking for a proactive team player displaying initiative and unafraid to ask questions and share their opinions. Good ability to communicate, consult with and support the Business teams is what will make you stand out as a candidate.

Fluency in Polish and good level of English are both a hard requirement. This position offers a hybrid or remote (from Poland only) work models.

We are open to candidates with shorter work experience who display outstanding motivation and drive to learn and develop quickly.

Your duties:

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and systems at scale
Optimize and automate machine learning workflows to improve performance and efficiency
Actively cooperate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into our products and services
Collaborate with partners from other countries to align on project goals and deliverables
Collaborate with data scientists and business entities to build and enhance models, providing guidance on modelling techniques and best practices
Create scripts and procedures to automate processes
Conduct testing and validation of data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability

Our requirements:

At least 2 years of proven work experience in machine learning and MLOps
Experience working in the Cloud environment (preferably GCP)
Experience working with Git version control system
Practical experience of working in Python and ability to code independently
Practical experience of working with SQL
Ability to work with large amounts of data in an operational environment
Higher education in Computer Science, Mathematics / Statistics, Telecommunications or related (finished or near-finished, as long as you can work full-time)
Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday
Fluent Polish and knowledge of English at a level allowing for communication and preparation of technical documentation
