Key Responsibilities:
* Hands-on experience across the full contract lifecycle—procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims and variations, all the way through to completion and closeout
* A track record of successfully managing construction project workflows and contracts, including EOT, SI, RFIs, TQs, Change Orders, and POs, with precision and efficiency.
* Deep expertise in post-award contract management, ensuring seamless execution and project success
* FIFO background in remote site operations (preferred).
* Well-versed in lump sum, SOR, Re measurable, TCE contracts, offering flexibility and expertise in diverse contract structures (preferred).
What you’ll bring:
* Right to work permanently work in Australia
* At least 3-5 years of Contracts experience, ideally within the resources sector working for Tier 1 Contractors
* Extensive experience with SMP, E&I, Fabrication, Heavy Lift contracts, bringing technical know-how and strategic oversight to every project.
* Demonstrate an understanding of current contract law, relevant legislation and its application to the mining and oil and gas industries
* Strong understanding of various contract models (lump sum, cost reimbursable, schedule of rates, Joint Venture etc)
* Adaptability to provide coverage for on-site Contracts Administrators during their annual and sick leave
* Degree in Business, Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying would be highly advantageous but not essential
