We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in delivering IT projects, specifically with hands-on knowledge of business software within the Unit4 Agresso ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful ERP implementation and upgrade projects while ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The candidate must possess a valid PRINCE2 qualification and be well-versed in project management methodologies to lead our team in achieving its project goals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery: Manage and oversee the successful delivery of Unit4 Agresso ERP projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and timelines.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, IT teams, and senior management, to ensure clear communication and project success.
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business users to gather, document, and understand their requirements for the ERP system and translate them into project deliverables.
Project Planning: Create and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring the project is delivered within agreed timescales, scope, and budget.
Resource Management: Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring the project is sufficiently staffed and that team members are clear on their roles and responsibilities.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and keeping stakeholders informed.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, issues, and overall progress.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, and work with the team to perform necessary testing and validation.
Training & Support: Oversee user training and post-go-live support to ensure smooth adoption of the ERP system.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies within the project lifecycle.
Key Requirements
At least 3 years of experience managing IT projects, particularly in the implementation, upgrade, or optimization of Unit4 Agresso ERP systems.
Strong knowledge and practical experience with business software, particularly within the Unit4 Agresso ERP suite. Understanding of finance, HR, procurement, and other business functions in the context of ERP systems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and senior management.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and guide a project team while keeping them focused and aligned on project goals.
Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Desirable Skills
Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
Certification in additional project management frameworks or methodologies.
Experience in working with third-party vendors and managing contracts.
