Job description

As the Finance Manager, Customer Finance, you will partner closely with Sales Leadership and play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a new Customer Finance function. Your focus will be on fostering cross-functional relationships within a highly matrixed environment to deliver comprehensive financial analysis, generate actionable insights, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance customer profitability and promote sustainable business growth.

  • Establish and lead the Customer Finance function, including developing processes, tools, and frameworks to support its effectiveness.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to analyze customer profitability and revenue trends with actionable insights to drive improved business results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, RGM, and Trade/Marketing Finance —to drive initiatives that improve customer performance and business outcomes.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership through detailed financial modeling and analysis.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Customer Finance function.


Qualifications

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required
  • 7 + years finance leadership experience. Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry required.
  • Proven ability to build and lead new functions or teams within a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Tableau and/or Hyperion HCM/Essbase.
