Sr Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides technical leadership of the plan, design, and development of software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products from a Quality Assurance perspective.

Job Responsibilities:

• Independently designs, tests, and delivers high-quality software/solutions. Provides direct estimates, such as time, percentage of project completion, etc. to lead and/or manager.
• Research and resolve reported systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
• Coordinates the testing work of a small project team. Plans and schedules tasks for projects and individuals.
• Maintains detailed knowledge of software, underlying network and system software, and dependencies.
• Creates documentation adhering to the existing policies/procedures to be compliant.
• Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to the development organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required for the job:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.
• 7-10 years of software testing experience including leading a team/product/multiple releases.
• Proficient in creating test plans and test strategies.
• Ability to maintain test automation suite.
• Proven understanding of white box, grey box, and black box testing techniques
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented design principle
• Experience with source control systems and configuration management
• Good to have knowledge and working experience of Cloud Testing
• Significant software testing experience for enterprise-class, highly performant, fault-tolerant, and highly reliable applications.
• Work experience in Agile Methodology.
• Functional and Automation testing of both UI and API.
• Strong written and verbal
• Ability to work with a globally distributed Team.
  
  

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience needed for the job:

• Selenium Webdriver, Jira, Good knowledge of dotnet C#
• Bitbucket, git bash or SourceTree
• Jenkins, Soap UI, and Swagger (API testing)
• AWS, Kibana, Octopus
