Job Description:

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in logistics project management and maritime transport operations, specializing in oversized and non-containerized cargo (Breakbulk & Project Cargo). The ideal candidate will lead the planning and execution of complex logistics projects, ensuring compliance with international regulations while optimizing costs and delivery times.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage logistics projects for maritime transport of oversized and breakbulk cargo from planning to execution.
  • Coordinate operations in the U.S., ensuring compliance with international regulations (IMO, SOLAS, INCOTERMS, customs).
  • Oversee required documentation (B/L, letters of credit, permits) and ensure proper handling throughout the process.
  • Lead and coordinate cargo handling operations, including cranes, lashing, and securing.
  • Make strategic real-time decisions to mitigate risks and optimize operational processes.
  • Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers, shipping lines, and clients, ensuring project profitability and efficiency.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, ensuring a high level of service and compliance with SLA agreements.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maritime transport of specialized cargo.
  • Advanced knowledge of international regulations and customs documentation.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to solve operational challenges in real time, and risk management expertise.
  • Experience in negotiating with suppliers and shipping lines, as well as contract management.
  • English proficiency: B2+ or C1.
