The Graphics Project Manager is responsible for providing preparatory technical Graphic Production services for Events and Exhibits specific to creation and execution of large format event graphic requirements. The position involves handling, rebuilding, and formatting multiple computer file types and digital media for varying final output destinations. Requires a unique blending of graphic design, digital imaging, prepress production, color correction, organization, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
Manage and execute project requirements and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities to production team
Directly responsible for detailing work orders
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
Create, manage and execute deliverables
Effectively apply organization methodologies and enforce project standards
Schedule and manage project reviews and quality assurance procedures
Manage and communicate all risk associated to project
Attends PTW put to work meetings to ensure there is follow up in action items and effective planning
Create, manage and communicate necessary project documents
Track project costs, purchases and expenses on a project basis
Track and manage invoicing and monitor receivables for project
Outsource production files to vendors
Manage all aspects with graphic vendors regarding selection, deliverables, and invoicing
Act as project partner with Event Producer, Account Manager, Build Project Manager, Vendors, with regard to all services and build working relationships with all
Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the team leader
Manage and maintain quality standards for in-coming and in-process projects and components for finished goods
Prepare and produce digital files using Adobe Creative Suite to design, edit, and proof documents, which will be used for reproduction on large/grand format digital printers. Work ranges from laying out simple text documents, to the modification of complex existing customer artwork or internally supplied artwork, to designing custom graphics based on internal/external customer direction. Position involves coordination of internal and external vendor supplied graphic production.
The position involves specialized tasks which often need to be carried out independently, with little direct supervision. Expected to network and collaborate with the neighboring disciplines of design, detailing, and project management to ensure that customer supplied, or internally fabricated digital media is prepared accurately.
Preflight files, create and manipulate digital files to specifications, generate proofs, and check for quality deficiencies at all stages of prepress production
Perform design, layout and production functions as needed\Basic math skills (fraction to decimal conversions) and ability to read and understand CAD drawings

5 years experience in Graphic Project management required
2 years experience in Graphic Production and file management/design
Graphics software expertise required in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Work Front,) Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Proven experience in managing large projects with direct client access from inception to project closeout
Self-starter with independent decision making abilities
Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer and intercompany relationship skills
Excellent follow-up methodology
2 years experience in retail Graphics Design and Production required
College Degree preferred: Adobe Packages
Graphics equipment experience a plus: Inkjet printers, Flatbed Printers, Roll to Roll Printers, Dye Sublimation, SEG Fabrics, Laminating and cutting equipment
Some travel may be required, up to one to four weeks a year
