Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Financial Controller/Analyst to join our small finance team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies and contributing to our business success. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and refine financial models and forecasts (e.g., rolling forecasts) to support strategic objectives.


• Conduct pricing and margin analysis for our cloud-based products.


• Define, track, and analyze key company metrics and KPIs.


• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights that inform business decisions.


• Help streamline month-end close and financial consolidation processes.


• Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting activities.


• Perform Plan vs. Budget analysis, identifying variances and trends to drive improvement.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience, with 1–2 years in a startup environment.


• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company, ideally within the SaaS or technology sector.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system is a must.


• Advanced MS Excel skills, including complex formula building and modeling.


• Knowledge of SQL is a plus.


• Familiarity with German GAAP is advantageous but not required.
