Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • This is a UK based, remote but with occasional travel for team meetings.
  • System administrator in BCDE (Bentley Common Data Environment) version 2023 and above. As well as additional modules (Sync and Workflows)
  • System administrator in ProjectWise Explorer version 10.00.03.434 and above (server 10.00.03.299). As well as additional modules (Deliverables Manager, Administrator, Microsoft Add-in’s and online systems)
  • Provide support for bugs and enhancement across multiple BCDE Spaces within multiple BC (Bentley Common) servers and across multiple Work Areas and Environments within ProjectWise
  • Proactively monitor IT support queues and ensure third line support calls are resolved quickly and efficiently
  • Provide third line support for BC and PW and be 1st point of contact for BC Space Owners and PW (ProjectWise) Super Users
  • Engage with project teams at all stages of the construction cycle to promote IT systems and assist with set-up, adaptation and configuration of IT systems to specific project requirements
  • Develop and create user guides, training material, user acceptance testing scripts and other documentation as needed for IT systems. Where appropriate update user guides for IT Software
  • Where appropriate, become a system administrator, provide guidance, assistance and training for existing, upgraded or new IT systems in formal or informal settings
  • Provide ‘Train the Trainer’ training sessions for Space Owners and Super Users
  • Provide technical documentation for Space Owners and Super Users
  • Write technical documents for any changes and enhancements
  • Collaborate with 3rd party/solution provider for changes, issues and questions.
  • Follow strict IT Change Management process for all development work
  • Work with the wider IT team for problem resolution and innovation
  • Carry out account management duties such as adding/removing users or updated permissions in PW, adding UPN’s to accounts and updating access levels in BC.
  • Provide support for bugs and enhancement across EDMS
  • Configure work areas and spaces within EDMS
  • Provide training and support for the Document Controllers/Space Owners within EDMS
  • Support any upgrades to System Servers
  • Carry out various Admin duties within EDMS (Electronic Document Control Systems)

Essential

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Document controller or above on a site or a ProjectWise, BCDE or AssetWise system administrator
  • Knowledge of Information Management Processes and requirements
  • Have understanding of ISO27001 and ISO19650
  • Must be prepared to travel to our operational business (All UK)
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Good customer facing and presentation skills
  • Excellent Team Player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Comfortable communicating at all professional levels within the business

Desirable

  • Driving licence
  • Demonstrate experience in an IT environment
  • Proven Capabilities within an IT support function
  • In depth understanding on BCDE
  • In depth understanding on ProjectWise
  • Understanding of AssetWise
