Job description

What Data Analytics brings to Cardinal Health:

The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.

Data Analytics applies business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build, optimize, and automate analytics solutions supporting the Global Procurement organization for the medical segment
  • Access and aggregate large, raw data sets from multiple internal/external sources
  • Transform data into meaningful analyses, actionable insights, and practical information for decision-making
  • Actively enable and empower analytics across the Global Procurement organization through leadership ability, sharing of best practices, training programs, and in-person development/support
  • Leverage a spectrum of analytics capabilities to deploy best solutions for use cases identified
  • Partner with Global Procurement teams on both large-scale and targeted sourcing initiatives to maximize sales and margin
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide analytics support and thought leadership on critical initiatives
  • Contribute to the evolution and progression of analytics within Cardinal Health

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 8+ years of experience, preferred
  • Experience within supply chain or procurement is desired
  • Experience with Tableau and Alteryx preferred
  • Experience executing large-scale automation initiatives preferred
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics applications (e.g., automation, predictive), market intelligence, and data governance
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at all levels of technical ability and expertise
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing presentations and presenting to senior management
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 - $147,900
