Job Description

Responsibilities will include:

  • Migration of legacy Java applications to use modern Java custom libraries in applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and a Microservices architecture.

  • Work closely with other tech leads and create automation tools to speed up the migration process.

  • Guide developers in Java migration projects and resolve issues which arise during migration, including upgrading Spring XML configurations to annotations.

  • Optimize Gradle build scripts , conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices.

  • Collaborate with other application teams and offshore teams to ensure scalable solutions.

  • Stay updated with the latest Java and Spring advancements and recommend improvements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Microservices

  • High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington
