Database Analyst

EyeCarePro is a leading digital marketing agency specializing in solutions for eyecare professionals. We help practices grow through innovative marketing strategies, data-driven insights, and technology. As we continue to scale, were looking for a Database Analyst to analyze, standardize, and integrate data across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze unknown databases to determine table structures, data relationships, and stored information.
• Develop rules for standardizing data across different databases and software platforms.
• Review and validate reports to ensure accuracy of table mappings and standardization rules.
• Utilize SQL (SELECT, JOIN, subqueries, etc.) to extract and compare data.
• Identify primary and foreign key relationships within datasets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve database organization and data integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High attention to detail with a strong analytical mindset.
• Self-starter who learns quickly and asks the right questions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ideally with strengths in:
  • Analytical, Strategic, and Discipline (CliftonStrengths).
  • High conformity, high impatience, and high logic (Culture Index traits).
• Database knowledge (SQL proficiency required):
  • SELECT statements, JOINs (INNER, OUTER, LEFT, RIGHT), subqueries.
  • Understanding of primary/foreign keys and data types (INT, BOOL, VARCHAR, etc.).
• Healthcare/eyecare experience is a plus but not required:
  • Understanding patient flow and operations in optometry practices.
  • Familiarity with billing codes and insurance claims.
  • Knowledge of eyecare products, manufacturers, and common eye health conditions.

Experience Level

• 3-5 years of experience in database analysis, data mapping, or a related field.
