We are seeking a Client Service Operations Intern to join our team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, supporting our client service operations team with essential tasks related to client account maintenance, data analysis, and administrative support. Key takeaways from this role include developing expertise in operations, enhancing data analysis skills, and gaining practical knowledge on how to compile KPI metrics. This position is ideal for students aspiring to build a career in operations within the financial services industry.

Primary Job Functions

Operational Tasks

  • Data entry to support new client accounts and maintenance of existing relationships

  • Resolve outstanding tasks in CRM systems

  • Process requests for system access for internal users

 Compiling KPI Metrics

  • Manage large data sets in Excel and other reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and timely updates

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver regular data reports and dashboards to track the progress and effectiveness of transition projects

  • Conduct data analysis on client accounts, assets, and key metrics to identify trends and potential issues during the transition process

Ancillary Daybreak tasks

  • Support the team with ad hoc projects related to Project Daybreak

  • Miscellaneous preparation of documents, organizing of client files, scanning, email and phone communication, and use of technology

Education/Qualifications

  • Preferably Pursuing bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.

  • Preferably students between their junior and senior years

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization

  • Detail oriented, highly organized and adaptable

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. Thus, the entire salary range for those who are classified as the Intern level is $34,309 to $52,983.
