Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for training delivery of approved training content, quality, and coordination for all new hire training
  • Deliver our blended learning (virtual instructor-led training, and eLearning) classes and programs for new hires as necessary 
  • Manage and own batch upload to LMS to ensure capturing of new hire trainees. Completion of trainee surveys, quizzes, and tests with upload to LMS was needed or other compiling tools.
  • Manage the logistics of learning and create an effective learning environment along with a report on testing results.
  • Communicate with appropriate business owners, other trainers, managers, and management to ensure that all training is conducted on time and with sufficient resources and facilities.
  • Responsible to escalate possible new hire attrition and flagging poor performance, misfit skills, or behavioral issues in training promptly.
  • Create, foster, and maintain a high-quality performance improvement program that offers fair and consistent feedback to our associates
  • Responsible for mitigating and eliminating gaps in training occurring due to issues or concerns with communication skills and language skills.
  • Responsible for continuous self-development by keeping themselves abreast with current industry training practices
  • Able to assimilate training materials, bridge any gaps between understanding and execution, and facilitate learning in the classroom by organizing and presenting material in a way that is optimal for the target skill or knowledge being transferred.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time, within your category of employment in the organization and for the effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of The VA Group

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience in a training role
  • Bachelor’s degree or significant college course work, preferably in communication, education, or a related field
  • Expertise in planning, implementing, and assessing training
  • Excellent communication skills for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including superior skill in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers
  • Excellent coordination, classroom management, and organization skills.
  • Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with the subject matter
  • Knowledge of adult learning and training practices, especially in technical support contexts
  • Able to work on a US time zone shift
  • Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g. Google Calendar)
  • Excellent phone, email, and instant messaging communication skills
  • Tech Savvy
  • Proactive attitude
     

Technical Requirements:

  • USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature
  • Working Webcam
  • Main and backup computer: at least 1.8 GHz processor with at least 4GB RAM
  • Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps wired connection
