Position Summary 

 

Rimini Street’s Digital Marketing team is chartered with delivering an outstanding connected and consistent digital experience across properties and channels, serving the needs of customers, prospects and partners. Our digital experience elevates our brand promise and converts unknown visitors to loyal customers. 

 

As the Director of UX/UI Design, you'll be responsible for shaping the design system for our corporate website experience, and continually optimize audience-centric paths to deepen engagement and increased site conversion. The Director of UX/UI Design will collaborate with our branding and web development teams to develop plans and initiatives to enhance the website's user experience across their entire web interaction, whether they are a first-time visitor, repeat visitor or existing customer. This is the role for you if you're passionate about how data informs design and user experience principles to create a cohesive and connected digital experience, tailored to an array of visitor profiles. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Define and execute the long-term UX vision and strategy, aligning with business objectives
  • Plan and create a captivating and cohesive user experience for our corporate global and localized websites, that delights and excites customers 
  • Conduct user research, and deliver best practices in User-Centered Design (UCD), information architecture, and interaction design, tailored to serve multiple audience segments 
  • Evolve a design system that elevates our brand and supports demand generation; provide design and UX input to our web CMS component library, ensuring design consistency, accessibility, and reusability 
  • Develop wireframes, page designs, and prototypes to support web, landing pages, interactive components and owned properties 
  • Work closely with web developers to design, build, and deploy experiments targeted at collecting feedback on user behavior, and use that information to further optimize the website design and user experience
  • Collaborate and drive cross-functional team alignment to drive ongoing UX improvements
  • Stay ahead of UX/UI trends, bringing innovation solutions to Rimini Street

 

Experience 

  • 15+ years of experience in digital and website user experience and interaction design, with at least 5 years of experience designing for a SaaS/Cloud website or professional services firm 
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your UX talent in creating user-centered solutions (user flows, prototypes, wireframes mockups and style guides, as well as page specifications and redlines) 
  • Proficiency in developing user personas, and designing user flows and digital journeys that drive engagement, interaction, and conversion 
  • Skilled at synthesizing information and developing an information architecture that brings clarity and simplicity to digital communications 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, and similar UX tools with experience in building and maintaining a pattern library or design systems 
  • Experience with conducting online user research, and with associated tools (e.g. conducting usability studies, performing user research, user surveying)  
  • Solid understanding of designing for lead generation and increasing conversion 
  • HTML, CSS and prototyping skills are a plus

  • United States, remote (West Coast/Pacific time zone preferred)
