Collections Supervisor at FinFit
We are seeking an experienced Collections Supervisor to lead our collections team in managing
outstanding accounts and ensuring timely payments. In this role, you will oversee daily collection
activities, implement strategies to reduce delinquency, and provide coaching and support to team
members. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of collections
processes and regulations, and the ability to resolve disputes professionally. If you thrive in a

Qualifications we value
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in collections, credit, or accounts receivable.
• At least 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations (e.g., FDCPA, FCRA).
• Ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop team members.
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and implement collection strategies to reduce outstanding debt.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with customers diplomatically.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and company policies.
• Bilingual skills preferred

In this role, you’ll get to…

• Monitor account statuses, analyze trends, and generate reports on collection
performance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations related to debt
collection.
• Handle escalated customer disputes and negotiate payment arrangements as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and customer service, to resolve
issues.
• Train and develop team members to enhance their collection techniques and customer
interactions.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and recovery rates.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and update internal systems.
• Foster a positive and goal-oriented team environment while maintaining high ethical
standards.
