What You'll Do
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate with clients and financial management outsourcing staff to ensure timely and accurate monthly finance and accounting services.              
  • Provide technical expertise for US GAAP requirements and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.                
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of accounting systems to optimize financial management operations across various industries.                  
  • Conduct detailed reviews of periodic client-use financial statements and supporting schedules.                   
  • Act as a liaison on behalf of clients with external auditors and internal decision-makers.               
  • Foster proactive working relationships with clients and cross-functional departments to ensure the timely and accurate receipt of financial information.                       
  • Support business development efforts by participating in prospect meetings, calculating pricing, and drafting engagement letters.                     
  • Guide and oversee the onboarding of new clients, including training clients and staff, allocating resources, and managing client work assignments.                   
  • Mentor and develop staff consultants and senior consultants by actively engaging with them as their Performance Coach.                 

  • What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).          
  • 5+ years of experience in all facets of accounting and finance, including GL, AP, AR, PR, budgeting/forecasting, and reconciliations.                     
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills with proficiency in financial reporting.                
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex operating agreements.                    
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with precise deadlines and deliverables.                 
  • Proficiency in multiple accounting software systems, including QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Bill, Ramp, Expensify, etc. (certifications preferred).                
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.                 
  • Preferred Qualifications:             
  • Experience in setting up and implementing accounting systems and procedures.             
  • CPA or CMA license preferred.

  • This is a full-time, long-term position.               
  • The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.                
  • Work from home.                  
  • Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST or CST.
