What you will do

Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, and ship new features through continuous iteration

Manage feature requests and project timelines realistically within an Agile development framework

Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Participate in code reviews that uphold the principle of clean code and architecture.

Write and maintain supporting documentation for the software and systems developed

Work directly with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements to product deliverables

What should my qualifications be?

7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on mobile software engineering

Excellent communication skills with a minimum B2 level in English

Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with rapid iteration cycles

Proficient in native iOS app development using Swift and SwiftUI, with a deep understanding of the entire mobile development life cycle

Experience with Bluetooth connectivity and integration, specifically in mobile applications involving audio peripherals such as earbuds

Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient mobile systems

Knowledge of mobile UI/UX standards and deep understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

Tech Expertise

Programming Languages: Swift (required), and Objective-C, Kotlin (desirable)

Frameworks: SwiftUI, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text

APIs: Experience with integrating APIs for voice interaction technologies and AI models.

Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS stack, including Lambda and SQS

Additional Technologies: Experience with iOS Bluetooth APIs, memory management, and background processing for real-time audio applications.

Modern Architectural Design Patterns: Proficient in using modern architectural design patterns such as MVVM, MVP for robust and scalable mobile application development.

CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Github Actions and Fastlane.

Desired (but not required)

Experience with Android app development.

Background in working with IoT devices and smart sensing technologies.

Previous work on audio peripherals and voice interaction technologies, especially in low volume or challenging acoustic environments.
