Job description

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a results-driven and dynamic partnership executive with a demonstrable record of success to launch and grow our partner program. The VP of Partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships across the organization, including identifying potential partners, negotiating deals, managing relationships, and driving business growth through collaborative initiatives to align partner strategies with company goals. This is an opportunity to join a quickly growing team. You will make a significant impact from day one and will report directly to the CEO.

What the VP of Partnerships role looks like: 

  • Develop and implement strategic partnership initiatives to enhance service offerings. 
  • Identify and engage potential partners in the fleet management, logistics and transportation industries. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute partnership strategies that align partnership goals with company objectives. 
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for strategic alliances to drive innovation and expand market reach. 
  • Lead end-to-end partnership processes, from identification to execution. 
  • Negotiate and structure complex agreements, including joint ventures. 
  • Foster relationships with key external partners for ongoing collaboration. 
  • Analyze market trends to identify partnership opportunities and potential risks. 
  • Evaluate the performance of partnerships and provide insights for improvement. 
  • Represent Kooner Fleet Management Solutions at industry events and conferences. 

 

What our ideal candidate looks like: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 
  • Proven experience in partnership development, business development, or strategic sales roles in the fleet management, logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing deals and partnerships. 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Strong executive presence with proven ability to present and manage a wide variety of relationships. 
  • Proven record of achieving targets and driving revenue in a high-growth, rapidly evolving organization. 
  • Ability to analyze market data and apply insights to strategic planning. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Must be willing to travel. 

Work Environment:  

  • Standard office setting  
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs  
  • Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time  
  • Moderate travel
