Pavago is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant - Construction to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Construction Accounting, Job Costing, Project Based Accounting, specifically in multi-family apartment construction, and previous construction accounting experience at a U.S.-based company.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Accounting: Handle journal entries, payroll, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
Sage Intaact Management: Manage financial data from multiple sources and ensure accurate input into Sage Intaact. Must be able to quickly learn new financial systems.
Construction Accounting: Oversee construction job costing and project-based accounting for multi-family apartment construction.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, evaluate financial performance, and provide data-driven recommendations.
Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modelling, reporting, and data management.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Identify financial discrepancies, analyze complex financial data, and implement corrective actions.
Communication & Coordination: Effectively communicate financial issues and deadlines to team members and management, ensuring employees complete Fyle transactions in a timely manner.
