As an Intake Screener, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential healthcare customers, playing a crucial role in our client’s lead qualification process. You’ll handle inbound calls generated from targeted online advertisements, using your excellent communication skills to pre-qualify leads efficiently and effectively. Conduct warm transfers of qualified leads to healthcare agencies, maintaining a seamless transition and setting the stage for successful conversions
Maintain a friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor throughout all calls, even in challenging situations
Adhere strictly to HIPAA compliance standards, safeguarding sensitive health information at all times
Collaborate with team members to share best practices and continuously improve our qualification process
Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and stay updated on healthcare industry trends
Requirements
Excellent communication skills in English, with a clear and friendly phone manner
Proven experience in customer service and sales roles, preferably in a call center environment
Experience in Inbound sales and retention
Demonstrated ability to follow scripts while maintaining a natural conversation flow
Basic understanding of healthcare terminology and the ability to learn quickly
Proficiency in using CRM systems and call center software
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work full-time hours, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:00 or 7:00 PM Eastern Time
High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
Ability to meet or exceed performance metrics, including handling 20-30 inbound calls per day and achieving target qualification rates
