Summary

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s compliance function, focusing on client contract agreements and contractor management. You will work closely with the sales team and directly report to the Compliance Manager. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of recruitment compliance regulations, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Contract Coordination

• Act as a primary point of contact for the sales team regarding contractual issues and queries, providing guidance and support.

• Review, analyze, and escalate client contracts to the compliance manager, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk management frameworks.

• Apply commercial acumen to identify potential risks and opportunities within contracts across the client portfolio.

• Maintain accurate records of all contracts, ensuring they are stored and managed in accordance with data protection regulations.

• Conduct quarterly audits of all compliance documents, including contractor files, client contracts, and internal policies, to ensure adherence to regulations.

Contractor Onboarding and Deployment

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for contractors, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.

• Conduct thorough vetting of contractors, including background checks, reference verification, and right-to-work checks.

• Oversee the deployment process, ensuring contractors meet client-specific compliance requirements.

• Assist in the management of the time sheeting system operation and ensure compliance within the system.

• Monitor contractor timesheet submissions and identify outstanding submissions.

• Provide monthly updates to the sales team and directors regarding outstanding timesheets, including detailed lists of contractors and clients affected.

CRM and Project Management System

• Maintain and regularly update the CRM system (e.g., Bullhorn) and project management system (e.g., ClickUp) with accurate and current data.

• Action change requests within Bullhorn, ensuring accurate and timely updates to contractor and client information.

• Identify and suggest improvements to system workflows and functionalities to enhance efficiency and compliance.

• Generate weekly reports for the Compliance Manager, based on data extracted from the CRM and project management systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience in contract review and/or management

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in compliance and administration, preferably within a recruitment environment.

• Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to assess risks and opportunities in contractual agreements.

• Proficiency in using and managing CRM systems (ideally Bullhorn) and project management systems (ideally ClickUp)

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
