Responsibilities

The BI Specialist (Regulatory) Reporting ensures the accuracy and compliance of regulatory reports (e.g., CADOCs) through data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Python or Qlik Sense. This role collaborates with Compliance, Finance, and Product teams to interpret and implement regulatory requirements while developing dashboards to monitor data quality and performance. With strong technical expertise and autonomy, the specialist proactively adapts reports to evolving BACEN regulations in a fast-paced financial environment.

• Perform data extraction and transformation tasks using SQL and Phyton to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory reports (e.g., CADOCs and other Bacen-mandated reports).

• Analyze and ensure the timely submission of regulatory reports (CADOCs) in compliance with BACEN requirements.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to BACEN regulations.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of regulatory reporting data.
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve regulatory communication.
• Development and maintenance of dashboards and reports to track data quality, reporting performance, and regulatory KPIs using mainly Qlik Sense and other data visualization tools.
• Work closely with Compliance, Accounting, Finance and Products teams to ensure regulatory requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented.
• Monitor and ensure implementation and report adapts to regulatory changes and new norms and directives.
• Demonstrate autonomy and proactivity in identifying and addressing issues.
• Take accountability for delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines

Requirements

• Experience in the financial sector, with a focus on regulatory reporting, Finance Product, Fintech, or financial ecosystems.
• Experience using Databricks, SQL and/or Python
• Experience in data extraction, manipulation, and building dashboards and indicators.
• Experience with dataviz tools or Qlik Sense for data visualization and dashboard creation.
• Strong mathematical and financial knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of Spark and Databricks is a plus
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively  and independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• English or Spanish is a plus.
