We are looking for a pioneering Salesforce Test Automation Engineer to lead the establishment of automated testing for our Salesforce implementations and custom enhancements. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in test automation development and will be instrumental in ensuring the functionality, performance, and security of our Salesforce solutions through the implementation of automated tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks for Salesforce modules, customizations, and integrations.

  • Design and execute automated test plans and scripts using tools such as Selenium, focusing on enhancing test coverage and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure thorough test automation coverage.

  • Conduct automated functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on Salesforce applications.

  • Accurately identify, document, and manage defects and inconsistencies.

  • Work closely with development teams to drive issue resolution and enhance test script reliability.

  • Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Jenkins or AWS Code Build/Code Pipeline to support continuous integration and delivery.

  • Ensure all Salesforce solutions adhere to company quality standards, industry best practices, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Participate in code reviews, providing insights into potential quality challenges.

  • Validate data integrity and accuracy across various Salesforce modules and integrations through automated tests.

  • Continuously assess and refine test automation processes, tools, and methodologies to maximize testing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to detect and resolve quality issues early in the development lifecycle.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance system performance, user experience, and overall product quality.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, outcomes, and quality metrics.

  • Prepare and deliver test automation reports to project teams, highlighting critical findings, risks, and recommendations.

  • Contribute to developing user guides, release notes, and training materials.

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist end-users during testing phases.

  • Mentor team members on test automation best practices and the application of testing tools and methodologies.

  • Stay informed on the latest Salesforce releases and features and their implications on test automation.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in test automation development, with a focus on Salesforce systems.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce modules, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.

  • Proven experience in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or AWS Code Build/Code Pipeline.

  • Coding experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of documenting and presenting test automation findings.

  • Strong understanding of agile software development practices and tools.

  • Solution-oriented with a keen sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to tight deadlines.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer.

  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including in-person, remote, and offshore team members.

  • Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking, setting priorities, and working in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Self-motivated team player able to handle conflicting priorities while consistently maintaining quality performance standards.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work.

  • Experience in the education or ed-tech industry is advantageous.

  • Interest in sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues.

  • Familiarity with tools and methodologies that could benefit Amplify and the discernment to recommend their implementation.


 

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $113,000 - $115,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
