Job Description

The Human Resources Specialist assists with the day-to-day operations of human resources functions and duties. The position reports to the HR VP.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Evaluate and recommend HR policies to reduce non-essential and costly tasks/activities.

·         Support the understanding of labor laws and application of same.

·         Assist with annual and quarterly audits.

·         Provide support with tasks as assigned by the HR VPs or CEO

·         Handle employee relations issues for assigned client groups and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

·         Assist with recruiting as needed.

 

Requirements:

·         2 plus year HR hands on experience required.

·         Self-motivated and driven, takes the initiative.

·         Strong with Microsoft Office products.

·         General understanding of HR disciplines including recruiting, benefits, payroll, labor laws.

·         Drive to question the status quo, ask why, dig deep and provide recommendations that improve efficiency and cost.

·         Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

·         Experience with HR use of ADP EV6 and BambooHR a plus.

·         Experience assisting with international a plus.
