The Job

Onera Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sleep Scorer to join our team as a freelancer. The ideal candidate will already be scoring sleep studies as a freelancer and will be able to provide the service to Onera with ease. This role requires deep expertise in polysomnographic scoring, strong tech skills, strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely. 

Responsibilities 

Analyze polysomnographic (PSG) data accurately, identifying sleep stages, respiratory events, and other physiological parameters.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification, QN Somnology DGSM or  ESRS Somnologist Technologist 

Other requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a sleep scoring role.
  • You're currently based in the EU
  • Completion of relevant training plans in sleep scoring. 
  • Expertise in analyzing polysomnographic data and accurately identifying sleep stages, respiratory events, and other physiological phenomena. 
  • In-depth understanding of sleep physiology, sleep disorders, and AASM standards. 
  • Proficiency with sleep scoring software and general technical skills (Microsoft OS, Office 365, etc.). 
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in data analysis. 
  • Ability to communicate findings effectively to colleagues and customers, regardless of their level of sleep medicine expertise. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines 
  • Optional but highly preferred: experience in scoring in Noxturnal 
  • Professional proficiency in English, Dutch or German (depending on the respective location)
