Role Overview:
Key Data is experiencing rapid growth and is poised to capitalize on significant market opportunities within the short-term rental data industry. To accelerate our trajectory, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on and results-driven product leader to define and execute a market-leading product strategy that drives customer adoption, revenue growth, and expansion into new segments. This executive-level role will be instrumental in scaling our product offerings, strengthening our competitive advantage, and shaping the future of data-driven decision-making in our industry.
This executive will have led the product function for a $10-$50MM+ ARR, be a business-minded, customer-obsessed product leader who thrives in a private equity-backed environment and understand the nuances of building,scaling and driving real customer value within a B2B SaaS and data business. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, customer insight expertise, and a track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. He / she will be a balanced leader, equally comfortable setting high-level strategy as they are in the weeds, ensuring execution happens. This person will manage a team of four product managers, collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success, and serve as a key strategic partner to the President and senior leadership team.
Roles & Responsibilities
Define, communicate, and execute the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth goals and market opportunities
Develop a product roadmap that prioritizes high-impact initiatives based on market demand, competitive positioning, and commercial viability
Identify and capitalize on new product opportunities through rigorous market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis
Drive end-to-end product development, from ideation and validation to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring continuous value delivery
Implement and optimize core product management processes, including roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and release management
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, data, sales, marketing, and customer success to deliver innovative solutions that drive ARR growth and customer retention.
Establish and track key product performance metrics (KPIs) to measure success, optimize revenue impact, and refine go-to-market strategies
Lead and develop a world-class product organization, hiring and mentoring high-performing product managers while fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and innovation
Key Qualifications / Success Criteria:
SaaS & Data Product Leadership
5-10+ years hands-on experience leading product teams in B2B SaaS, with a strong preference for candidates who have also built or scaled data-centric products (e.g., DaaS, analytics platforms, API-driven solutions). Ideally, has experience taking a data-powered SaaS product from $10MM to $50MM+ ARR
Maintain an overall product playbook that will guide the functional efforts
Proven track record of defining and executing multi-product or segment-specific go-to-market strategies
Experience working in a PE-backed business, presenting product vision, performance, and ROI to executive teams and investors
Strategic & Data-Driven Decision Making
Expert at translating business goals, customer needs, and competitive insights into a high-impact product roadmap. Strong experience balancing SaaS growth strategies with the complexities of data-driven products—such as data aggregation, analytics, and API monetization
Experience leveraging SaaS product KPIs (ARR growth, LTV, churn, NRR, expansion revenue, CAC) to inform strategy.
Ability to prioritize ruthlessly, making trade-offs based on revenue impact, customer value, and market demand
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
Must have experience leading with a hands-on approach
Strong ability to align product, engineering, sales, and customer success to drive execution and accelerate growth.
Experience leading product-led growth (PLG) and enterprise sales-driven product strategies
Commercial & Enterprise SaaS Expertise
Deep knowledge of product-market fit, pricing models, packaging, and monetization strategies for B2B SaaS ($5K-$150K+ ACV), particularly in businesses where data insights, analytics, or API access are core monetization levers
Experience balancing growth and profitability, leveraging business models, upsells, and expansion strategies
Ability to align technical feasibility with business impact, particularly for SaaS platforms that leverage proprietary data, machine learning models, or API-based monetization strategies. Understands how to drive adoption and retention in products where data is a core value driver
