Job description

Full-time Mental Health Counselor in Costa Mesa, California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)

Our team is in need of an experienced Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) for our outpatient practice in California. You will be responsible in providing support to those who are experiencing mental or emotional distress. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make appropriate referrals to other specialists or support services when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting sessions, progress, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the mental health system
  • Provide support to clients' families and caregivers, helping them understand the client's condition and how to best support them
  • Help clients access community resources and support networkss

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health-related field
  • Current state-board-approved clinical license (California)
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital documentation
  • Strong background in clinical counseling techniques and methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
