Location: Torrance, California

Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
Monitor progress throughout the treatment plan
Collaborate on intervention plans with other mental health specialists, doctors, nurses, and social workers
Follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients admitted to the hospital
Identify and prevent behaviors that impede recovery
Assist family members and primary caregivers in managing mental behavioral challenges

Requirements

Valid license without current, past, or pending disciplinary action (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW)

Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling is required
Experience with telehealth or virtual counseling services
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Mental Health Therapists
Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse utilization review process preferred
Comfortable working with various virtual communication tools and platforms
