Your Role at SafelyYou

As CFO at SafelyYou, you will be a key strategic leader, responsible for guiding the company's financial strategy, capital allocation and operational execution as we scale. You will ensure the company's financial structure supports rapid growth while maintaining fiscal discipline and operational efficiency. 

This role requires a proven finance executive with experience scaling a venture-backed startup to $100M+ revenue, particularly in hardware-as-a-service (HaaS) and AI-driven businesses with an enterprise healthcare GTM. You should have a strong operational mindset, balancing strategic goals, financial discipline, and cross-functional efficiency. A deep understanding of enterprise healthcare sales cycles, payor partnerships and capital-intensive business models is highly desirable.

Responsibilities: 

Financial Strategy & Capital Allocation 
  • Develop and execute a long-term financial strategy that aligns with SafelyYou's growth objectives
  • Guide capital allocation and resource planning, ensuring sustainable, scalable growth
  • Provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization 
Scaling Financial Operations Without Excess Overhead
  • Implement financial systems, processes, and controls that scale efficiently with growth
  • Ensure financial reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking provide real-time visibility into business performance 
  • Maintain a lean, high-impact finance function, leveraging automation and cross-functional collaboration 
Business Model Optimization & GTM Strategy 
  • Partner with GTM leadership to develop pricing, bundling and monetization strategies for an expanding HaaS product portfolio 
  • Align financial strategy with contract structures, customer purchasing behaviors and payor subsidization frameworks 
  • Build financial models to optimize LTV, CAC, and other key financial GTM metrics 
Operational & Organizational Execution
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive financial discipline and operational effectiveness across the organization 
  • Establish clear financial accountability across teams while balancing growth and margin management 
  • Identify and execute cost-saving measures that balance efficiency with growth target attainment 
Risk Management & Compliance 
  • Ensure strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management, particularly for capital-intensive hardware deployments 
  • Oversee financial planning for long-term sustainability, balancing risk mitigation with aggressive growth 

The Ideal Candidate:  
  • 10+ years of finance leadership experience, including scaling a fast-growing VC-backed startup to $100M+ revenue
  • Experience in HaaS, AI-driven businesses and enterprise healthcare GTM is strongly preferred; A background in enterprise healthcare, including payor partnerships and reimbursement models is a plus 
  • Strategic financial leadership: Strong ability to align financial discipline with ambitious company goals
  • Scalable financial operations: Ability to build financial systems and processes that scale efficiently 
  • Hands on execution: Comfortable working cross-functionally and getting into the details 
  • Operational mindset: Strong at partnering with GTM, product, and operations to drive financial execution 
  • Expertise in financial operations, capital efficiency and revenue model optimization 
  • MBA preferred; CPA or CFA is a plus 
  • Passionate about SafelyYou's mission
  • Willingness to travel, expected approximately once per quarter for key internal and external meetings
