Job description

Role: Telesales New Business Consultant

Location: Home based (Some travel required)

Reports to: Commercial Telesales Manager


The Role 

An exciting opportunity has emerged to join our Rightmove Commercial Team. Focused on outbound prospecting to generate quality appointments with Commercial Real Estate Agents and Landlords. 

 

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on creating new business opportunities and is motivated by contributing to overall customer growth. You will be working alongside our Account Management team as well as a variety of other internal teams at Rightmove. 


We welcome applicants seeking part-time opportunities, with a minimum availability of four days per week


What you'll be doing

  • Pro actively contact potential prospects and book appointments for Account Managers. 
  • Manage a database of prospects and source your own where necessary 
  • Liaise with internal teams to build internal relationships and deliver the best outcomes for customers and deliver business goals 
  • Achievement of monthly KPI’s and performance metrics relevant to business requirements 
  • Communicate and build rapport through effective listening 
  • Regular sharing of learnings to colleagues and internal key stakeholders to enhance service and product offering 
  • Consistently create a positive sentiment and build value with our customers 
  • Recording information in relevant databases and ensure CRM’s are kept up to date 
  • Attend face to face team meetings and company conferences when required 
  • Demonstrating an excellent knowledge of Rightmove products and services and to deliver training over the telephone

  • Evidence that they can achieve stretched targets/KPI’s 
  • The ability to create strong first impressions over the telephone and create the right environment of trust and empathy to build strong initial rapport 
  • Actively exhibits a growth mindset and a willingness to learn, develop and respond to feedback. 
  • Demonstrates strong planning and organisational skills 
  • Understands and utilises a sales process with effective questioning 
  • Shows resilience and tenacity when the going gets tough. 
  • The capability to get through the toughest of gatekeepers 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Is driven to achieve personal and team objectives whilst demonstrating Rightmove behaviors 
  • The ability to use data in a relevant and an insightful way to potential customers 
  •  Has a good working knowledge of Word and Excel

Flexible/Hybrid working 

Rightmove are People, and whilst this role is predominantly a remote, home working role, we do like to get together face to face Bi-Monthly to share best practice, upskill ourselves and attend ongoing training at either our Milton Keynes, London office or Newcastle office to ensure we’re maximising opportunities to deliver and develop and of course, create a high-performing team through Trust and great team work!
