Job Title: Splunk Expert Developer - ITSI Advanced

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Splunk Expert Developer with advanced skills in IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Splunk development, ITSI, and IT operations management. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts, as well as implementing ITSI modules and services. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop data models, and create dashboards, reports, and alerts to meet the organization's operational and analytical needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts
Implement ITSI modules and services, including Service Definition, KPI Base, and Service Analytics
Develop and maintain advanced Splunk searches, dashboards, and visualizations
Integrate Splunk with other IT operations management tools and systems
Collaborate with IT operations teams to identify and prioritize Splunk development requirements
Provide expert-level guidance and support for Splunk and ITSI best practices
Stay up-to-date with new Splunk features and ITSI releases

Key Skills Required
Splunk ITSI:

Expertise in configuring NEAP policies and create correlation searches.
Use machine learning algorithms to create predictive analytics and anomaly detection rules

Splunk APM:

Setting up and configure OTel Collector for gathering telemetry data including logs,metrics and traces from various applications and services.
Processing collected data and exporting it to Splunk Observability Cloud.
Configure Service Maps,Business Workflows,AlwaysOn Profiling to understand issues in application data.
Setting up the alerts and dashboards using the APM data

General Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

5+ years of experience with Splunk development and administration
Advanced skills in ITSI, including Service Definition, KPI Base, and Service Analytics
Experience with Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and data visualization
Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong experience in Splunk development (Apps, knowledge Objects creation)
Proficiency in developing complex Splunk searches, reports, dashboards, and alerts using Splunk SPL (Search Processing Language).
Knowledge of data integration techniques and technologies, such as RESTful APIs, databases, and streaming data.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation and data manipulation tasks.
Experience with other IT operations management tools and systems
Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and infrastructure
Experience with containerization using Docker
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Splunk certifications (Splunk Certified Developer, Splunk Certified Admin) are desirable.
